hello!
It all began in 2019. While attending a local library class with her three young children, Bibi saw a room full of toddlers and thought to herself how beneficial it would be for the children to engage in play that had occupational therapy objectives: motor planning, sensory input, balance, and coordination - the works! This sparked an idea for a developmental play program for toddlers - one that would support and challenge their emerging skills.
As the idea evolved into a plan, Bibi shared her vision with her friend and fellow Occupational Therapist, Nidia, who responded with “Let’s do it”! Bibi and Nidia had met at NYIT while earning their Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Though they graduated in different years, the two therapists serendipitously met again while working at the same school in Brooklyn and became fast friends. Drawing on their professional experiences, the duo discussed the unique concept, and Nidia agreed to come onboard to help facilitate classes.
Bibi pushed forward with her passion project to lay the framework and offer it as toddler classes through libraries, then later expanding to be an early childhood program- which today also includes enrichment classes for preschools. These partnerships allow for classes to be free of cost for the children in the community!
Bibi finds joy in traveling with her family of five - at times chasing mountains and waterfalls! Her love language is cooking and baking for loved ones. She has an affinity for hobbies that have a creative component to it. Most importantly, Bibi is grounded in her Christian faith.
